According to a report presented at the workshop, work has been done on reorganizing water committees, fencing the unfenced water facilities, and repairing damaged water facilities. In particular, 605 improved latrines were constructed by farmers who are organized in a group of 25 to 40 members in a participatory learning and action strategy.

The project has built model toilets in schools to keep students' personal hygiene. By also setting up a girls' club, girls have been trained to make modes from local materials easily so that they are not embarrassed during menstruation.
